Position : Deputy General Manager / General Manager

Jobs Responsibility/Description
  • Responsible for Purchasing and Cost estimation activities for the organization.
  • Implementing and maintaining the standard purchasing process, establish purchase policy and strategy with a view to enhance savings and reduce waste. Devising and using fruitful sourcing strategies.
  • Make sure all the requisite and approved commodities availability as per the specification.
  • Develop a purchasing & material sourcing policy, set a standard lead time for delivering to the end consumer.
  • Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes.
  • Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
  • Conducting market research to keep abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company.
  • Ensure compliance in all procure-to-pay processes & procurement rights.
  • Achieve the set procurement target in coordination with team members.
  • Onboard and develop value-added suppliers and nurture partnerships.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Preparing detail reports on procurement and deliveries.
Educaional Qualification
  • Masters degree in any discipline
