No. of Vacancies: 01 Jobs Responsibility/Description Senior level position that assist internal departments, particularly marketing, sales and some program, to make informed decisions by providing information and insights through primary and secondary research. The incumbent will report to the MD and CEO, SMC. Assist departmental heads and divisional chiefs in identifying their research needs and make the annual research budget allocation. Lead the process of implementation of external research - from RFP development to the submission of the draft and the final report as per plan and expected quality ensuring full compliance with company policies Engage internal decision makers in identifying information needs, development of the instrument and the analysis plan, and in the interpretation and utilization of data and information Implement in house research projects to respond to the urgent information needs of indenting departments. Write research reports, articles for national and international publication both in individual capacity and groups, and represent the company in various forums through dissemination, discussions and presentation. Educaional Qualification Minimum Masters in a Social Science/ Statistics/ Business Administration. PhD in the relevant subject would be an added advantage. Jobs Experience At least 12 (Twelve) years of experience in Research with at least 5 years in a managerial position. Experience in both Quantitative and Qualitative/focus group research. Experience with tracking surveys very useful. Additional Requirements Excellent writing skills in English. High level analysis skills. Hands on use of SPSS or other statistical package highly desirable Hard working; honest; ability to meet deadline Good HR and communication skills; build capacity of in-house research team Age: NA Other Benefits This is a full time permanent position and offers an attractive salary and benefits package.
